Talked about doing that, but never did, as there is a structural rib running down the middle of where the hole should be.

Changed my mind to an external, after market fuel injection pump mounted by the filter on the frame rail.

Issue is HOW2 gut the in-tank pump to become just a pickup tube.

Might have to add a lift pump to get the fuel out of the tank, as the after market injection pump might not be able to lift fuel out of the tank.
