I'm thinking of buying an RV to live in.

Trying to sort through all the RV sites leaves me mind-boggled and weary.

All the "newbie" RV guides are written towards someone who's new to both trailers AND RV's, and I'm NOT new to trailers, and not entirely new to RV'ing since living in the Freightliner on an extended basis is much like living in an RV. Plus, the staggering array of brands and models....

Does anyone have any tips/hints that I could use to sort through some of the overwhelming information?

Here's what I need, in terms of what the RV offers:

Big toilet/bathroom
5th-wheel/gooseneck hitch

Most everything else is negotiable.

I've been toying with the idea of a gooseneck toyhauler, but they're not really what I'm looking for, and most normal RV's/5'ers are geared towards trying to sleep 12 instead of 2. I don't need a lot of room, but need durability. I need the 5th wheel or gooseneck because I don't want to deal with the vagarities of a bumper-pull hitch.

Custom designs are possible, but expen$ive! I'm looking at the used market, but again, the staggering array of brands/models makes it all but impossible to decide on something...
