The seat back cover and cushion are bonded together by adhesive. You have to separte them by pulling force.

1) Remove head rest first.
2) Loose the plastic clip lock underneath the seat back.
3) Remove seat back cover and cushion from driver door side first
4) Then flip the cover and cushion toward passenger side.
5) Then the armrest shaft is exposed.
6) There is a small C-shape cliper on the shaft, remove it, then pull the armrest out
7) Then remove back cover and cushion completely
8) Inpsect seat back frame, there could be some broken spot near joint due to poor welding

: I never did get it off. Do you leave the seat cover on the padding-cushion and slip it all off together?
: I got the top bolt replaced; it had sheared off. and welded the lower tube back to the frame on the driver side of the seat. It was broke loose due to bad welding job. (I threw wet towels on the seats to weld on the frame.) The seat is still a little loose and noisy though. I'm guessing the bolt on the pass. side is sheared off too.
