My buddy (speed shop owner) told me he only gets OEM parts for this type of thing. The money saved by going to any other is risking too much for the money saved.

While consulting on the next gen hybrids, found the company who supplies most of the OEM fuel injection pumps for GM and they also supply after market (auto supply). They said the after market are 'cheaper' versions. Outside case and end caps are the same, but the critical stuff (guts) do have lesser due to the specifications.

Hope it is something simplier, but be ready for a new pump.

Check the harness voltage down at the connector on the cross member. That thing many times is left hooked up and bolted when the tank is dropped and that streeeeeetches the wire & connector.

Fuel filter changed?

Good luck!
