92sub...Indeed, I'm using a "memo scan" scanner made from Uiftech of Taiwan. I think I paid $65 on Ebay.
I did disconnect the MAF sensor last night, and the computer did set a code, so you've confirmed my suspicion.
Also, after I removed and cleaned the MAF, replaced the fuel pump and air filter, the torque converter clutch is acting normally once again. I was getting nervous, because abnormal torque converter engagement occurred prior to the fuel pump failure last summer.
