Have you tried at Grainger? They carry a bunch of different kinds of fan motors. You may not be able to look it up by make, but should be able to by size, rotation, HP, and shaft length.

: Walter,
: Tried the motor rebuild place in Palo Alto (across from Osh & Sun's old PAL1!!! it's torn
: down !!!)
: Nice guy, but says this one is welded together and will take more than the labor cost worth
: ($22/hour) to grind it apart and reweld.
: They rebuild the motors for Great America & over flow from local transit cars.
: Appreciate the lead and this one down memory lane. This shop is a quality place and does up to 1,000 HP
: electric motors.
: Give up. House of Fans in SF is just too painful with traffic and parking, so just ordered it on line.
: Will tear this one apart and try to get it running, just because and maybe get it running
: till the new one arrives.
