Only pic I could find is on the link below. If you have enough length on the core tubes after removing the qc fitting, no reason why you couldn't use a length of hose and clamps. For something as buried as the rear heater core, I'd use 2 clamps per hose/tube connection...but that's just me :}


: I have developed an intermittent leak at the connection of the hose to the rear heater core. It looks to be some kind of quick disconnect. How to I disconnect this quick disconnect? The replacement hose assembly seems to be about $135! for the set. Next I am wondering if I can cut off the flexible hose portion of this pipe/hose assembly and use a 3/4" heater hose to repair this leaking portion. Seems possible on the pipe portion but I do not know what the heater core connection looks like. Anyone else done this repair. All help is appreciated.
