Update;

Had 3.35v on the dk blue wire from PCM to knock sensor. However, the plastic electrical connector disintegrated when I handled it. Looks as though the pin may have been grounding out on switch housing. Replaced with new GM connector.
Knock sensor replaced w/ GM part. Reset codes via battery and restarted.
No code 43 (knock sensor), no code 32 (EGR) ran the snot out of it and runs strong without skipping a beat. I'm happy, but then again, I was not towing anything. Seems the only true test is under tow conditions and that'll have to wait until early Oct.
