20% is spot on, as I've measured mine and two others at the bulb connector to ground connector. One was 9.8VDC, mine was 10.2VDC, so 20% is spot on.

Just going to direct wiring of larger gauge and no connectors (or limited number) will get back to 12.6VDC, or the design high side of 14.x VDC if wired to the alternator (with a filter/choke).

Plus having all that wiring/connectors running all over the dash and engine bay is nuts, IMHO.

Hoping to not have to change components and stick to OEM. Just need to find out and figure out if the existing wiring will have the signal I want.

Looking for white LEDs as DRLs. Maybe marker lamps, backup lamps, or ???
