The Bar is not the problem. It is that "thing" (arrow) to the left of the battery that's in the way!

Can't even see the bolts that's holding that thing, whatever that is, in place!

: A few other GM products you have to remove that bar going across the battery. Kind of a dumb design to put the battery under a structural member.
