Oil Pressure

'95 K1500 189K

I have noticed that my oil pressure guage doesn't go as high as it used to. When I first start the burb - it comes up to 40 on the guage then drops to 20. Is that sufficient oil pressure? Do I need to replace the oil pump?? Is there an oil pressure sensor that could be getting weak???
