First, the shop/mechanic who changed out the AC compressor clutch should have noticed this and
therefore fixed it.
If it showed up later, then says the compressor 'was' good then, but died soon after.
When the AC compressor (AC or defroster) is on, it consumes HP off of the V-Belts or the
serpentine belt. This slows down the engine so there is a circuit the speeds up the engine RPMs
whenever the compressor is on. That circuit maybe the issue.
Take it back to the mechanic who changed the AC compressor clutch.
