After replacing the fuel filter and a successful drive around the block during lunch yesterday, the car died when I left my office parking lot. After a few sputtering starts and stops I was able to get on the main road and coast downhill to the parking lot of my local repair shop. Left the keys and a love letter in the night drop and caught a ride home with my bride.

They called this morning and said they were going to start by replacing the coolant temp sensor and harness leading to the sensor. Just called again and said it was fixed and to bring $215 and they'll let me have it. I said wait..$215 bucks for a $16 sensor? I think you already let me have it. Anyway, I'll examine the invoice in a bit but looks like I'm back on the road and not a minute too soon.
