Sorry, didn't see this till just now and posting just in case you need this info.
Key to any shoe/drum work is to have a picture of where/what everything is. Mainly which spring is
which and where it goes (attachment).
Don't remember 7.2K GVWR or 8.6K GVWR and posting both pictures. Basically the same in principle or architecture.

#1 Take pictures before you tear it apart.
#2 ID the new parts to the old parts before tearing it apart
#3 Make sure you have right parts, materials and tools.
#4 #1 Son's has most of the info, so I'll only touch on the stuff I think will make a difference.
These are from a fellow members 7.2K GVWR 4WD Sub I helped put in Praise Dyno. Rebuilt both front and rears.
Good reference of where the stuff goes.

His did not have the adjuster hole, so we drilled it out. 1/4" at each end and saw off the center
