I checked with people that work for my employer in Rancho Cordoba and Carson, they all said the Clunkers around them are being parted before crushing.

Could be it's just not being reported that way. The dealers are making huge money selling the clunkers to recyclers and not advertising it...

By the way, if you'd like some of the sodium silicate for killing the engines, we sell it. $80 for 15 gallons, mix 50/50 with water and put two quarts in the engine...
