:My 96 K2500 with the 454 does pretty good, rated at 290 hp and 410 torque. I was looking thru the GM performance catalog and they have a HT502 338 hp 512 torque made specifically for a truck but they say it's for pre-76 models. They also sell all of the parts you would need to beef up your current 454.
