Well ... it is holding fluid after I topped it off. It is still weeping around the rubber seals from the fluid reservoir to the MC. They are relatively cheap so I may DIY.

: Get a new one. The toughest part if bench bleeding it and bleeding the whole system.

I've bench bleed and bleed MCs when installed [loop brake line back into reservoir, etc...] so it shouldn't be a DIY issue.

Just curious .. which suburbans had hydroboost? I am assuming that my brake booster is simply a vacuum activated standard unit. Any known issues with the '99 brake boosters? [I realize this is a separate part / issue from the lost fluid in the reservoir].
