How do you replace the headlight switch? How does it fit in the dash? I have the interior lights staying on problem and I think it's the headlight switch. The override button seems to only engage every so often and when it does the lights stay on for a short period and then go off rather than immediately going off. I also pulled the door switch on the driver's side and twisted it and now they seem to be working correctly again so it's one or the other. I think I'll replace the door switches first and then the headlight switch if that doesn't work. Vent...Why is it that GM's electrical switches go bad from time. I have noticed in other GM cars I've owned having problems with interlock solenoids, hvac controls, etc. not to mention the lock solenoids I've replaced on this Suburban always using GM ones. Seems a lot of this stuff goes from age not wear. This Sub has 80,000 miles.
