Cheapest first and that is the fuel filter.

Then the regulator.

Then the pump.

If a truck, I'd suggest looking at the harness as on a truck it is bolted to the cross member just ahead
of the tank. Most who drop it think it will pull the harness...which it does till the bolt holding
it to the cross member gets into the act.

It then stretches the harness and if the tank is full, it will then stretch the harness to reduce
the wires gauge.
