I went to Taylor wires and NGK Iridium plugs when I did the intake manifild gasket.
See my post just a few down foem yours on my recent project.
If your plugs are badly carbon fouled and you are using oil, then you might consider the IMG as well. Was a job but likely worth it.

: I want to replace the spark plugs on my 2002 Suburban K2500 8.1 ltr engine to hopefully improve power and fuel economy. It has 130,000 miles on the odometer.
:
: Four years ago I replaced the plugs and wires at 70,000 miles with ACDELCO 41-983 spark plugs and ACDELCO 748FF spark plug wire set from rockauto.com.
:
: What is the best choice in spark plugs and anything special I should do to them prior to installation?
:
: Thanks,
