See my post just a few below re my 01 3/4 tin 8.1 burb.
first 100K saw a crank position sensor and electronic brake control module (thanks Module Masters!). Now at 115K. New front end just because it was getting a bit sloppy at 105K. Just did fuel pump, 1 new injector and had 7 flowed cleaned rebuilt and re flowed, IMG, top engine cleaning, new cats (had 3psi back pressure), top post battery conversion, plugs and plug wires, and added a big B&M tranny cooler to the mix.
Just did a BG Tranny Flush w/ BG Synthetic fluid. Was a bit burned after the last trip.
Been pulling a 24'10" Mastercraft most of the last 50K miles (when we bought it). Just added a 31' Holiday Rambler toy hauler at 8500+ pounds. Need ot get the whole rig weighed out.
: You could test drive a new one, but that's dangerous. It has been proven that the 'new car smell' is enough to entice women into wanting a new vehicle.

: Personally, I think you are doing pretty good with the one you have there. Those repairs do not seem too unusual - for the mileage. Just keep an eye on that transmission.
