There are more than a few possibilities, but a "chicken and the egg" question comes first:
Does the hesitation happen because of the loss of oil pressure, or does the loss of oil pressure happen because of the loss of engine rpms?
-If former, classic symptom of main bearings going bad
-if latter, classic symptom of fuel pump intermittent; early sign of early fuel pump problems...
and about twelve other possibilities. Definitely worth spending $100 and having a good technician do an official diagnosis. Rough guess is that it is unrelated to the coolant/intake manifold repair.
