This thread has convinced me to rebuild my CS140 and now noodling whether the regular HD kit or the extreme (dual) kit.

My alternator has never been the same after the infamous batter + POS terminal issues.

It is dieing a slow death. Whenever it is hot out, or have lots of things on, the voltage holds for a few minutes and then drops slowly and some times below 12VDC on the dash gauge.

Only a matter of time when it dies all together.
