Strange issues 2002 Suburban K2500

I m having some strange issues with my 2002 Suburban K2500 8.1, 4.10 with 134,000 miles.

On long trips (>50 miles) the speedometer will occasionally pulsate down 5 mph. This makes using the cruise control problematic, because the engine revs when the speedometer drops.

On those long trips the fuel gauge will stay at the same reading until the ignition is turned off and back on. On a couple of occasions the fuel gauge registers empty and the low fuel light come on with ¼ to ½ tank of gas in the tank. The ABS and Brake dash lights occasionally illuminate and usually stay on until the ignition is turned off (even on short trips).

Burbman suggested I check the sidepost battery connections. I'll check that out this weekend.

Could it be a problem with the instrument cluster? Electronic Control Module?
