: I don't think much of this is related.
:
: The Stablitrak lamp is most likely related to medium-low brake fluid level. That goes along with your vehicle transition from a hill to flat. The brake control module sees the fluid level switch show low level as it sloshes in the master cylinder and turns on the lamp.
:
: There isn't a fuel pressure sensor so nothing on the car knows pressure is low. I suspect your pending lean sensor codes might have caught a condition where the pump wasn't delivering but it's not a direct reading of pressure.
Brake fluid is full, not the cause. Even if it is caused by a slosh on a hill change, it would set at least a pending code. My theory is the transition from low engine pull on the long downhill into an accelleration on the flat creates engine running lean because of fuel starvation. Once again, no codes of any kind set in brake control module, but communication errors in body control which I would read as recognition of the body control knowing it couldn't control engine speed due to low pressure.

: Your mileage decrease probably has more to do with extended AC operation in the hot weather than your fuel pump issue. If we think about it logically, having lower than required pressure would cause fuel starvation, the total opposite of poor fuel economy which is using more fuel than you need.
AC operation has not changed since April, when we had temps eqaul to current. Fuel mileage has only changed over the last 4 weeks.
A lean running engine is going to require more fuel to produce the same amount of power. Said another way, lean engine equals higher rpms; slightly higher rpms equal decreased fuel mileage.
After 95,000 miles in 2-1/2 years, and being the only driver, I'm guessing my knowledge of the vehicle allows a little fudge room on theorizing. Unfortuantely, at 95,000 miles, I wasn't too surprised to see a fuel pump...
