Could I have a problem with the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor?

That could explain the ABS light coming on and erratic function of the speedometer.

FYI, I had the front calipers replaced 4 months/5,000 miles ago. The problem started after that.

: I m having some strange issues with my 2002 Suburban K2500 8.1, 4.10 with 134,000 miles.

: On long trips (>50 miles) the speedometer will occasionally pulsate down 5 mph. This makes using the cruise control problematic, because the engine revs when the speedometer drops.

: The ABS and Brake dash lights occasionally illuminate and usually stay on until the ignition is turned off (even on short trips).

: Burbman suggested I check the sidepost battery connections. I'll check that out this weekend.
