A/C replacement

'95 K1500 3.7 292K miles

Hey guys!! A/C went flat last fall and didn't do anything until this recent hot snap. Guy in town used to work of Yates racing and has opened up a shop in town. Good mechanic. . .

Found that hose to the rear air had a leak - barly touched it and it broke off - compressor was really noisy also. He is in the middle of replacing everything except the evaporator under the dash. Going to be about $600 or 2 payments if I had to replace the truck. Not too bad. . .

Wondering if there was anything else I should have him replace while he is there with reguards to the A/C?
