what should AC temp be?

Last week we had temps in the 90's and I was not impressed with the AC in the burb (2000 K1500 LS). This morning, using a low tech thermometer, I measured the air at the vent to be around 62F with the AC on, blower on "2" and recirculation on. Outside temp was 73 according to the mirror.

Is there a specific tempurature that I should see at the vent?

We are leaving for a summer trip in a 2 weeks but my tech is going on his vacation next week so I want to act now if I need to.
