What about taking it back to the place that replaced the fuel pump in May and asking them to check to see if the sender that is part of that pump assembly is bad? This might get you a free diagnosis to prove that it isn't their part.

Will the dealership tell you which one, or give you a list of parts on their estimate that you can use to determine whether it is front or rear?
