Your picture didn't come through but I'm well aware of what they look like and Yes, all GM fuel modules come with a new sensor.
But the bigger point is that I don't think either of your sending units are bad. I think your rear pump stopped working and it's fuel never gets moved to your front tank. So the computer correctly sees that your have fuel but you stop running because the front tank, which is the only one that supplies the engine, is actually empty.
Bottom line, I don't trust the diagnosis you received.
