Great to hear of the vacation and confirms how well Suburbans tow.

My guess on the fuel difference is Ethanol percentage

I notice it locally during the seasonal change mandated by EPA.

Mine drops anywhere from 1.5-2.5 MPG

Force the computer to relearn HOW2 manage
