Tires

It's time for new tires on my 2002 3/4 ton 4WD Sub.

I have tried several different tires previously that were highly rated (Bridgestone Dueler Revo, Gneeral Grabber HTS). The tires only lasted abourt 25-30K miles. The General Grabber HTS tires that are on the Sub now were very good tires all-around, but only lasted about 25K.

Checking the internet, it appears that most people get 60K+ miles on the Michelin LTX M/S tires. I had Michelin LTX tires on a previous 1/2 ton Suburban and they were the best tires I ever had on a truck.

The Michelins cost about 40% more than the Generals, but should last twice as long.

Has anyone had a tire with long treadlife on a 3/4 ton Suburban?

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Steve
