I had about 66,000 miles on a set of Dueller Revos on my old 2000 K2500 Crew Cab when I sold it, and probably had 15-20K left. That truck saw a lot of towing a fairly heavy trailer.

Rotating every 5,000 miles is not as overenthusiastic as it sounds. Since I change oil and rotate every 5K (synthetic oil), I always have a pretty good idea of the exact state of condition of my vehicle.

Rotating frequently on heavier tires is even more important, especially if you are in the upper load ranges.

: It's time for new tires on my 2002 3/4 ton 4WD Sub.
: I have tried several different tires previously that were highly rated (Bridgestone Dueler Revo, Gneeral Grabber HTS). The tires only lasted abourt 25-30K miles. The General Grabber HTS tires that are on the Sub now were very good tires all-around, but only lasted about 25K.
: Checking the internet, it appears that most people get 60K+ miles on the Michelin LTX M/S tires. I had Michelin LTX tires on a previous 1/2 ton Suburban and they were the best tires I ever had on a truck.
: The Michelins cost about 40% more than the Generals, but should last twice as long.
: Has anyone had a tire with long treadlife on a 3/4 ton Suburban?
: Any recommendations?
: Thanks
: Steve
