I use LTX M/S on my 2002 K2500 Sub. The first pair lasted about 66K miles The second pair lasted about 60K miles. They were replaced due to the sidewalls starting to show small cracks, not from treadwear.

: It's time for new tires on my 2002 3/4 ton 4WD Sub.
:
: I have tried several different tires previously that were highly rated (Bridgestone Dueler Revo, Gneeral Grabber HTS). The tires only lasted abourt 25-30K miles. The General Grabber HTS tires that are on the Sub now were very good tires all-around, but only lasted about 25K.
:
: Checking the internet, it appears that most people get 60K+ miles on the Michelin LTX M/S tires. I had Michelin LTX tires on a previous 1/2 ton Suburban and they were the best tires I ever had on a truck.
:
: The Michelins cost about 40% more than the Generals, but should last twice as long.
:
: Has anyone had a tire with long treadlife on a 3/4 ton Suburban?
:
: Any recommendations?
:
: Thanks
: Steve
