Thanks for the knowledge. But that 1986 Voyager has long been gone. I gave it to my sister who drove it to the ground. Part of the recycled metal maybe used in someone's new car somehwere on this Earth right now, I am sure!

: : I was on the way the the west coast in my 1986 Plymouth Voyager, Same thing happened to me. It was not just one time. It might happen 2-3 trimes a day. Shutting off engine and restarted solve the problem everytime!

: Actually, on that era of Chry/Dodge/Ply products, removing power (i.e. disconnecting the battery) would have been the prescribed technique to reset the body control module. The fact that yours reset on restarts would indicate an ignition switch or BCM problem...
