: Two questions: if the o ring is still in there will it cause any problems, or just make its way to the tank and stay there?
: can fuel pressure regulators make a vibrating noise, or is the o ring restricting flow back to the tank somewhere causing the vibrating noise? its kind of random.
: thanks

I think you are answering your own questions.

To be clear: If installed correctly and working properly, a fuel pressure regulator should not make any vibration.

I think it would be worth your time to make sure you:

-have enough daylight
-have enough time
-have an idea of how to correct the problem you have already caused

before you try to "fix" it again. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but to ask if a sloppily done job could be causing a problem is kinda like going to the doctor and saying "every time I punch myself in the nose, it bleeds." Obviously, you need to quit punching yourself in the nose.
