Ditto!!! 2001 K2500 Suburban, 8.1 4X4 4.10:1 at 130,000 miles

Did exactly the same thing! Need to fix it. Re-did most all of the front end components except the ball joints at 100K miles. has a slightly sloppy feel to it these days. May be that's it!

Thanks,

Matt

: Those stops on my 2002 K2500 Suburban are doing the same thing. It's relegated to driving 4 miles per day now, so my motivation to fix is low.

: : Well, couldn't get any details so wound up jacking up the truck and taking one off. GM Part #15015538. Hard to find, Rock Auto doesn't stock. Apparently the part has an improved design, new part # 15835666. Found a pair at the dmaxstore.com for $60.

: : Also found out that these are not just "bump stops"...the lower control arm rests against this bumper and it's supposed to work in conjunction with the torsion bar as part of the suspension to control travel and provide a more linear feel.
