Talking to some folks about our up coming high school reunion and we got to the Vietnam war and
how we both lost best friends in the world during that decade.

Couldn't have talked about this just a few years ago, but getting better about it. If I hadn't
been 4F, I'd be MIA too, as the 4 of us were inseparable.

Anyway, thought I'd post something I've been very proud about ever since. San Mateo was the ONLY
city in the USA who honored returning vets and held a parade down town in the early 70's.

Kinda sorta forget or put this stuff out of mind and good to bring this back on line once in a
while...

My city, San Mateo, adopted the 101st Airborne back in 1968 and has been supporting them ever since.
