Must be the updates for the DVD player(s), Creative Audigy2ZS sound card, Nero and the EVGA video card.
This workstation is configured to do my pictures and the family archives to DVD. Must capture as
much as can when both parents are still able to recall and/or explain what those old, old pictures
are (who/where/when).
I'll keep it and down load future updates manually.
Now over on parents machine...ran AVG around 11pm last nite and found a message that it found
'brontok.ko' and the path: C:/Windows/PCHealth/helpctr...
Says it is a worm and think from the Chinese alias I'm still on from HP and Sun. Of late, lots of
links to the earthquake & flooding. Most all of the search engines has links with Chinese or Asian
language characters.
That machine is scanning right now from www.antivirus.com and their 'housecall'.
Older machine, so AVG takes about 3-4 hours to complete and why I set it off when I go home.
Found another utility that says it will remove'm from an Internet connection. Anyone ever hear of them?

Removal instructions:
Please let BitDefender delete your files. You shall also use the free removal tool for
Trojan.VB.DJ from www.bitdefender.com to scan your system, as this tool also restores altered
registry keys.
Please note however, that if you use the removal tool on system which had a security policy
limitation set up by a system administrator, that is also used by the virus (like denying the use of
Task Manager), then the removal tool will set up a default policy value (and so, it might give more
priviledges to users than where before).
