Pure rolling resistance would have a smooth tread (bald), narrowest for the weight/load/etc, and
highest pressure....but....the ride quality and over all performance would $uck...

I'm no longer a Michelin fan. Over priced and no longer the 'best' or head of the pack...the pack
has caught them, even passed them.

If OEM wheels, then stick with OEM size/type, though I always recommend LT class tires on any
truck.

Widest rims for 'that' tire is the best for handling, rolling resistance, slip angle, but
works against ride quality (a bit).

Dad's Caddy was GREAT with the Michelin 55 VRs series but at +$200/per, too pricey. Went with
Yokohama's and loved them, but didn't last long. Currently on BFG 'Control Plus' P225/60R16 and
looks like they will make 80K mile. Good tires and only down side is that they have a high slip
angle and low T&T. VERY reasonably priced too.

I'd get them again for generial 'car' usage.

For truck tires, I like Bridgestone Revos for my Suburban. On the Silverado (1980), have an old
set of Michelin LTX-ATs (31/10.5R15LT C's) on front and Dayton (Bridgestone) Timberlines out
back (33/12.5R16LT C's). The Timberlines have too soft a sidewall and poor T&T, but they are
stiffening up over time and think the compound has 'dried' up or hardened. Hope they last
(bought them based on price).

Over all I'm a Bridgestone/Yokohama/Toyo tire person these days
