I looked up the Chev media pdf for the 2004 Suburban. It had listed GVWR 8600, please correct me if wrong, is this the total weight the suburban can handle fully loaded?

spec sheet listed 12,000 for trailer towing max.

So soes this mean that s suburban loaded up to a GVWR of 8600 can tow a trailer weighing 12,000 lbs? Is that right. I need guidance I don't want to get into the red zone or tear my suburban up.
