My Sub is also no longer my daily and sits too long. Above picture is the metal valve stems on my Sub's alloy wheels. I always use metal stems for any tire good for 80PSI or more. These stems are good for 200PSI (working).

So long that one day found one tire flat. Part of why I'm no longer a Michelin fan. Now drive the Sub at least once a week, as tires do NOT like sitting and will age crack.
