Hi folks, hoping you can help me out. Found a PRISTINE 1991 R2500 with 7.4L/4L80E/14-bolt with 3.73 and clean title that was a fair weather-garage queen! Even with 209,000 miles on the clock, there is no rust and original paint and interior! The frame has only light rust (actually less than my 1999 truck)! The motor and transmission were brand new GM Goodwrench pieces installed by a GM dealer 28,000 miles ago (all receipts and paperwork are available). I am looking at this for a more comfortable tow vehicle for our 25-foot travel trailer. Can anyone explain to me how an R2500 differs from a C2500? Also, I understand that if you wanted the big block and older blocky body style, this was the year to have because the 454 was improved. Anyone know details?
