: 90% of horn failures are in the steering wheel.
: 9% are the actual horn and 1% is the wiring/relay.
: I've probably fixed over 100 horn faults and I always start by making sure the steering wheel contacts are working. This is where the wear occurs.
: You want to place a TESTLIGHT between battery positive and the horn relay terminal for the steering wheel switch. When you press the switch, the lamp should light. Don't use a voltmeter because it could falsely pass poor contacts.

So how tough is it to repair if the fault is in the steering wheel. Is replacing the contacts difficult?
