The TSB covered a launch shudder among other concerns. I would do the repair even if the bulletin said it didn't apply. My 96 had gone through 3 transmissions (within 89K) before I got it and did the bulletin. Now has 80K on CERTA trans and still going strong. Might be too late for your trans.
