Since both inner and outer tread ribs doing this and the center isn't, says almost 100% that tire PSI a major factor.

Unless you have exceeded the recommended rim width for 'that' tire type/size. I've done that knowing and wanted the higher performance at the cost of ride quality on my setup.

Found that the tire tread belt so strong it didn't allow the center tread to expand enough to flatten the pavement contact. So the outer tread ribs wore faster than the center.

But that is just my setup and rare. Mentioned it just in case you have wider rims (mine are 10 inches wide).

Air up your front tires and check the wear pattern.
