HELP! Cargo Doors will not open

I have a 1995 GMC Suburban with cargo doors. This AM they worked fine, tonight I went to open them and I cannot open the left door. Its like the latch is no doing anything. I tried pushing the door in but it is still opening.

Any ideas, expericences?
