The 91 has a howl at idle that increases with rpm's. It's mainly noticeable when accelarating from a standstill. I got a responce from another source that it could be the fan clutch and there's no problem with it. Sound like a good fix? I tried the screwdriver to the component and ear but couldn't check most of the pulleys. New alternator installed. Was able to check alternator and a/c compressor (?) and power steering pump (got onto the pump mount).
