Does anyone know the proper procedure to reset the light? My '01 K2500 8.1 has 9300 miles, only 3300 on the Mobil 1 and the oil change light came on today. A guy told me to turn the key to the on position and press the accelerator to the floor 5 times and it would reset the light. I tried, it didn't work because light still comes on. Any suggestions?
