Nothing against ez-outs Steve but I've found in many cases, especially with plugs, that the size of the ez-out required in order to generate enought torque without snapping the ez-out requires a hole so close to the plug diameter that the ez-out can actually expand the plug so that it becomes even tighter in the threads. Ez-outs are great tools and they have been a life saver for me many times but when they fail they sometimes leave a tougher condition than what was originally encountered. In difficult situations I usually save the ez-out as the last option in my arsenal.
